The other day, I woke to two words...Grace and Trust. The Lord showed me about Grace. Grace is when you are going through a crisis without worry.
Seems like through all the "stuff" I've been through, all the death, financial stuff, and loss of friends, I have always had a sense of worry...even if it was just a little worry. This last go around, our sewer pipe broke under the driveway causing back up in the basement. NASTY!! Turned out insurance would only pay for clean up, not repair and the repair was 3300 bucks.
It happened or we noticed it around 10pm on a Friday night. Nothing we could do till Monday so no sense in stressing about it. We had to leave our home, so we went to the motel and then to Mom's. By Monday, I made one phone call and everything was taken care of and paid in full. It didn't cost us anything AND I didn't have to worry. That was God's grace. :)

Three Years Later or so...
Well...I ran across my old blogger and cleaned it up some...have been getting spammed so much I had to either fix it or take it down. I have a lot of content that I really don't want to lose.
So, I'll give a brief update:
Lots of loss in our lives that last few years, job, Lucy and Wrigley and my Papa Wally. I started with help our dog rescue and after Papa died, I turned it over to Melissa. I'm so proud of her!
We lost Lucy after she had 5 seizures in one night. A week later, we lost Papa. We put Wrigley down 8 months before we lost Lucy. He was constantly going after her. It got worse and worse. He wasn't having any fun in life anymore and we weren't either. Broke our hearts to lose them.
At Christmas time, three years ago, I devised a plan to replace Wrigley. My heart was suffering from a broken heart. I found the cutest little Boston (that I could rescue) and did. We got Bosco Jan 10th. He didn't have much time with Lucy as she passed away Feb. 8th and then Papa on the 15th. Bosco was our pain relief.
Not having a big brother or sister to teach him anything...it took him 2 years to fully get potty trained. He's little (19lbs) and we didn't worry too much about it. If he wasn't a walking "pooper" I wouldn't have minded so much keeping him paper trained. LOL
